Arise Ragnarok Races Ranked
Five community-reported passives. Class kit and shadows matter more. ELF and IGRIS codes are chests, not race unlocks.
Races in Arise Ragnarok sit under classes and shadows, not above them. You pick one during character setup, you can reroll later, and the bonus is small enough that a wrong race with a right class still beats a “perfect” race on a kit you hate. This page exists because players search for a race tier list — not because CLGAMES published a finished table.
Source warning, printed first. The five-race bonus sheet below comes from Game Anomaly’s beginner writeup and matching community guides. Pro Game Guides has not published an official race table next to its class kit blurb. Treat every percentage you see on a thumbnail as unverified. If a patch note on Updates or Hunters + QoL ever ships real numbers, this page will follow those numbers, not the blogs.
The five races, as reported
Community reports describe five options:
- Human — balanced. No loud spike. Fine for a first character when you still might reroll class. Nothing here is a trap, and nothing here is a reason to spend currency.
- Elf — Intelligence. The pairing people want on Mage and Healer. If the bonus is real, it feeds spell damage and heals. If it is overstated, you still have a caster kit that works on Human.
- Dwarf — mining. This is the only race whose reported job is a loop instead of a combat stat. Read the mining guide before you reroll just to break rocks faster. Crystals matter for dungeon prep; they do not replace assassin-type shadows.
- Orc — Strength. The pairing people want on Assassin, Warrior, and Tank. Same caveat as Elf: nice if true, not a reason to delay the next portal.
- Demon — damage. Reported as a generic damage bonus that any DPS kit can wear. Community boards argue whether it beats Elf on Mage or Orc on Assassin. Nobody arguing has an official tooltip screenshot that this wiki will treat as canonical.
There is no published sixth race. Thumbnail lists that add angel, vampire, or Crossover-only lineages are mixing games.
A ranking that stays honest
If we must letter-rank unverified passives for searchers who want an S-column:
- S for casters (reported): Elf, then Demon if you believe the damage line.
- S for melee (reported): Orc, then Demon.
- A for gatherers: Dwarf, only if you actually mine between dungeon windows.
- A for everyone else: Human, because it does not punish a class reroll.
That grid is weaker than the class tier list and much weaker than the shadow tier list. A Mage on Human with four assassin-type shadows will still farm faster than an Elf Mage who Collects every corpse with R.
Codes named ELF and IGRIS are not race unlocks
This mix-up eats more rerolls than the bonuses themselves. ELF and IGRIS are dungeon chest codes. They grant Baruka / Igris dungeon chests (counts change when codes expire). They do not turn you into an Elf. They do not unlock a race slot. They do not arise a named SS shadow. Redeem them from the codes list using the how-to-redeem steps, then spend the chests in the right dungeon. When they die, they move to expired codes like every other like-milestone.
Race rerolls, when they exist, come from shop items or separate class/race reroll codes — not from typing the word ELF into the box and hoping the character model changes.
Pairing race to class without overthinking it
Use the class picker first. Then, if a race reroll is cheap:
- Mage or Healer → Elf (reported INT), Human if you might swap off caster.
- Assassin, Warrior, Tank → Orc (reported STR) or Demon (reported damage).
- Anyone who lives on crystal nodes → Dwarf, then go mine, not PvP.
Do not pair Dwarf to Healer because “support should gather.” Do not pair Elf to Warrior because the model looks right. Class-locked weapons already punish fashion; race should not. Agility double jump, Strength breakpoints, and Intelligence dumps stay on stats and builds and under Classes. Race does not change the PGG kits.
When a race reroll is worth the time
Reroll race after you have:
- A class you will still play next week.
- At least one assassin-type shadow and a merge plan at the Guild Building.
- A habit of hitting timed portals with the dungeon schedule.
- Live codes claimed, including any actual reroll codes that are not ELF or IGRIS.
Skip the reroll if you are still on the getting started hour, still learning controls, or still skipping blue quests. A 16-player server after the October 18, 2025 launch will punish missing a dungeon window harder than it punishes being Human.
Come back to this page when Game Anomaly, PGG, or a CLGAMES note finally print the same numbers. Until then, pick Human if you are unsure, pick Elf or Orc if you already love a kit, pick Dwarf if you like rocks, and spend your attention on class, shadows, and the next portal — not on a bonus sheet one blog owns. The Tier List Hub is the map; this race board is a footnote with honest sourcing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Arise Ragnarok on Roblox.
What is the best race in Arise Ragnarok?
There is no official PGG table. Community reports point Elf at Intelligence casters, Orc at Strength melee, Demon at generic damage, Dwarf at mining, and Human at a safe default.
Does the ELF code unlock the Elf race?
No. ELF and IGRIS are dungeon chest codes. Redeem them on the codes page. They do not change your race.
Should I reroll race before class?
No. Lock a class from the class tier list first. Race is a smaller, unverified bonus.
Is Dwarf only for miners?
That is the reported bonus. If you never open the mining loop, Human, Orc, or Demon is a better use of a reroll.
Are these bonuses confirmed in-game?
Not as an official Pro Game Guides table. They are Game Anomaly / community claims. We label them that way until CLGAMES or PGG match them.
