Assassin in Arise Ragnarok

The solo grind and PvP carry — high burst, stealth weapons, and a group-list rank that sits lower on purpose.

Assassin Class Guide

Assassin is the melee burst kit in Arise Ragnarok. You roll it at character creation, you fight on 16-player servers that have been live since October 18, 2025, and you win fights that end before the other hunter finishes a combo. Solo grind lists put this class in S next to Mage. Launch and group lists park it lower because a Tank plus Healer already owns the boss timer. Both readings are on the class tier list. This page is the kit, not the argument.

If you want the one-line rec from the wiki: pick Assassin for fast solo and PvP. Pick Mage if you want easy range. Do not pick Assassin because a thumbnail said every class is S-tier.

What Pro Game Guides says the kit is

PGG describes Assassin as very similar to Warrior on paper — melee, weapons matter — with a stealth-focused weapon roster instead of Warrior’s broad “many weapons, no skills” line. That stealth tag is why class-locked loot matters immediately. A Warrior blade in your bag is not a secret upgrade. Equip Assassin-tagged weapons only. Dungeon chests from timed portals are the faucet; the dungeon guide and dungeon schedule keep you off empty doors.

Named arts the community actually uses

Community class pages list four Assassin arts you will see in combos:

  • Twin Slash — two fast dagger hits around you. Opener for packs that walked onto you.
  • Shadow Dash — three daggers thrown forward. The gap closer people confuse with a movement dash.
  • Triple Dagger (often spelled Tripple on older wikis) — a directional dash with a spinning slash.
  • Shadow Frenzy — a dash-around burst that hits everything nearby.

Treat those names as community-reported, not as a CLGAMES patch note. They still match how the class feels: you are a slot machine of short-range bursts, not a Mage turret and not a Warrior shop build. Mana pays for the arts, which is why the stat order is not “Agility until your fingers hurt.”

Stat order we recommend

Strength → Mana → Vitality → Agility.

Strength is the damage stat and the shadow-scaling stat for this class. Mana keeps Twin Slash and Frenzy from going dark mid-pull. Vitality is the tax for standing in melee on a 16-player server where someone else’s AoE is also hitting the pack. Agility is last on purpose.

The double-jump argument is loud here because Assassin is the mobility class. Some farmers park 50 Agility and claim the extra jump is enough. Other guides, including PGG-style writeups, talk about 200+ before the movement trick feels real. This page will not invent a winner. Put a test point stack on a dummy run in the city hub, then return the rest to Strength. Full spreads live on stats and builds. Movement binds live on controls.

Why solo S-tier is deserved — and why group lists flinch

Solo, Assassin deletes elites and PvP hunters who stand still. You do not need a party to finish blue quests. You do not need four skill slots to clear a room if Frenzy connects. You do need to be next to the target, which is why bad ping and bad cameras feel worse here than on Mage.

In a stacked dungeon group, that same burst is redundant. The Tank already has the boss. The Mage already has the pack. Your job becomes “don’t die on the telegraph,” which is a Warrior or Tank job with a thicker weapon ladder. That is the entire reason launch lists lowered Assassin without the class being weak. If you always queue, read Healer and Tank before you spend a reroll into Assassin. If you never queue, ignore those lists.

Shadows, race, and the rest of the account

Assassin-type shadows are your best friends twice: they are the highest damage line on the shadow tier list, and they scale from Strength, which you are already stacking. Press E to Arise, R to Collect. Extra slot every 90 levels. Merge four copies at the Guild Building. Hunt Elf-type and dungeon bosses next. Skip unconfirmed SS names. The shadows guide is the button version.

Race is optional and unofficial versus PGG. Community reports put Orc on Strength and Demon on generic damage. Human is fine. Elf is a caster bonus you do not need. Dwarf is a mining bonus. ELF and IGRIS codes are chests, not an Assassin-to-Elf transformation — see codes and how to redeem.

A session on Assassin that does not waste a portal

Clear the city with Twin Slash and Dash until the next window. Arise assassin-type corpses even when the model looks common. Buy or drop only stealth-tagged weapons. Skip off-class staffs. If you use scripts, auto arise keeps the army growing; auto farm will not aim Frenzy for you. After the portal, merge at the Guild.

Assassin is not the beginner default — Mage is. Assassin is the default if you already like melee burst and you play this Roblox place as a solo hunter. Keep the Classes Hub open for the other four kits, and keep the Tier List Hub open when a party friend tries to reroll you into Healer because their list is from launch week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Arise Ragnarok on Roblox.

Is Assassin the best class in Arise Ragnarok?

It is S-tier for solo grind and PvP. Group lists rank it lower. Mage is the easier new-player lock. See the class tier list.

What stats should Assassin take?

Strength, then Mana, then Vitality, then Agility. Do not max Agility first. Test double jump at 50 versus 200+; guides disagree.

Does Assassin use skills or only stealth weapons?

PGG highlights a stealth weapon roster similar to Warrior. Community pages also list Twin Slash, Shadow Dash, Triple Dagger, and Shadow Frenzy. Budget Mana either way.

Can Assassin wear Warrior weapons?

No. Loot is class-locked. Equip Assassin-tagged stealth weapons only.

What shadows should Assassin arise?

Assassin-type first, then dungeon bosses and Elf-type. Strength scales your summons. Details on the shadow tier list.

Should a group reroll off Assassin?

Only if you never get to burst and you actually enjoy Tank or Healer. If you still solo most of the week, keep Assassin.
